I. PAN Application

A) New Pan Application – Individuals
1. Aadhar is compulsory.
2. Documents for Id proof any one is required like Aadhar, passport, driving license.
3. Document for DOB proof any one is required like Aadhar, passport, driving license, Birth certificate, School leaving.
4. Document for Address Proof any one is required like Aadhar, Index 2, Light bill, Bank pass book, post pass book, passport, driving license,2 photos.

For Co-operative Societies

• Copy of Registration Certificate
•  Copy of Resolution
• documents need to be signed and stamped

For Nonresidents
1. Passport of resident country.
2. If Pan delivery address in India, then Indian Address proof,2 photos

B) Name correction / Lost Pan / Reprint / Any other changes

D) Pan name change after marriage

Aadhar Compulsory with new Name
1. Changed name Gazette OR
2. Copy of passport showing husbands name or vice versa OR
3. Marriage Certificate

II. TAN APPLICATION

TAN Number is a 10 digit Alphanumeric Number and is used as an abbreviation for Tax Deduction and Collection Account Number. Every Assesse liable to deduct TDS is required to apply for a TAN number and file TDS returns and TDS payments using the same.
As per section 203A of Income Tax Act 1961, it is mandatory for all assesses liable to deduct TDS to quote this TAN number in all communications regarding TDS with the Income Tax Department.
